Gregoire Park
Gregoire Park, which houses 3,856 people, was built at the same time as Beacon Hill, providing housing for the many new workers flooding into the area during the construction years of oil sands development. The area is mature, nicely treed and has a mixture of new and older manufactured homes and some single-family dwellings. The community also has a commercial area: one side of the main street is primarily residential and the other side is commercial real estate, which includes a wide variety of service stores. Some new residential development has occurred on the south end of Gregoire, which has expanded the mobile park to include more manufactured homes. Two new condominiums have been built adjacent to the park. As well, the neighbourhood will soon be welcoming a new hotel.
