Keyano College
Keyano College offers courses for university accreditation, the oil sands industry, business and computer technology, health and human services, visual and performing arts, and personal interest. Since 1965 the college has grown to meet the demands of the community for more skilled workers in the oil sands. Partnering with Suncor, Syncrude and Albian Sands has generated a growth to three campuses, two in Fort McMurray and one in Fort Chipewyan, as well as learning centres in Fort MacKay, Gregoire Lake, Conklin and Janvier. These facilities serve more than 3,000 full and part-time students. In addition to the oil sands partnerships, The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo's Fire Department and Keyano College have implemented an EMT-A and a Paramedic Program that will provide qualified graduates for recruitment in our region.
